Seal of Kyosai Kawanabe. Kyosai Kawanabe was an ukiyo-e artist and Japanese-style painter who was active from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji period. He reads the issue as “Kyosai” instead of “Gyosai”. He changed the “kyo” in the previous title “Kyosai” to “akatsuki”.
