A posthumous book based on Kyosai Kawanabe’s “Hyakki Yagyo Emaki” Kyosai Kawanabe was an ukiyo-e artist and Japanese-style painter who was active from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji period. He reads the issue as “Kyosai” instead of “Gyosai”. He changed the “kyo” in the previous title “Kyosai” to “akatsuki”. He had a rebellious spirit, and was even arrested in 1871 for the writing scandal, and left behind many caricatures and caricatures. Date of Birth: May 18, 1831 Date of Death: April 26, 1889
